In Donegal, two individuals have been arrested following separate incidents of dangerous driving.
This morning, Gardaí from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit apprehended a van driver at a Mandatory Intoxicant Checkpoint on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
This marks the fourth arrest related to impaired driving in the county within a 24-hour period. On Friday, three distinct drivers were arrested for drug-driving by Donegal Gardaí.
Separately, in the Ballybofey area, the driver of a quad bike was taken into custody overnight.
Gardaí have also seized the quad bike, citing multiple instances of dangerous driving observed by officers.
