A woman seriously injured in a road traffic incident in Buncrana last week is still receiving hospital treatment.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred on Main Street, Buncrana, shortly after 11:50 am on Tuesday, June 10th and involved a vehicle and two pedestrians.

The driver and both pedestrians (one male and one female) were transported to Letterkenny University Hospital for medical attention.

The driver and the male pedestrian sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.

The female pedestrian remains hospitalized with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.

A Garda spokesperson stated: “We urge anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Gardaí in Buncrana at 074-9320540. We also ask anyone who was driving in the area on June 10th between 11:45 am and midday and has dash-cam footage to please share it with us.”
