    Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an act of vandalism aboard a boat docked at Bunagee Pier in Culdaff.

    The incident took place between midnight and 6:00 AM on Thursday, July 3rd.

    The boat’s diesel tank was intentionally damaged during the incident. Furthermore, safety equipment was taken from the boat and thrown into the water.

    Gardaí have stated that the safety equipment was successfully retrieved.

    Authorities are asking anyone who observed any suspicious behaviour near Bunagee Pier on Thursday morning, or who possesses information that could help with the investigation, to please contact them.

    Anyone with pertinent information is encouraged to contact the Gardaí in Buncrana at 074-9320540.
