Daniel and Majella O’Donnell are finally on par with American comedian Rosie O’Donnell, thanks to a generous delivery of free crisps!
The couple is enjoying a feast of O’Donnell’s crisps after Daniel jokingly requested them five months ago!
The story began on The Late Late Show in March, where Daniel appeared alongside Rosie O’Donnell, who had recently moved to Ireland. Rosie received a box of crisps bearing the O’Donnell name as a welcome gift.
“I can’t believe she’s only here three weeks and has boxes of free crisps already. I have to buy mine!” Daniel quipped.
“Let O’Donnell’s hear this, I am not happy.”
Daniel even joked about starting an Instagram and posting pictures of Tayto crisps as a form of protest!
This week, the crisp company finally answered his call.
Upon receiving the box, Daniel announced, “We’re just as good as Rosie O’Donnell now.” He also confirmed the crisps are, indeed, “gorgeous”.
