The Little Angels School in Letterkenny is set to receive two additional teachers.

Minister for Special Education Michael Moynihan TD has informed Pat the Cope Gallagher TD that the school will gain two extra teaching positions, based on enrollment figures submitted by the school administration.

All students have now been offered places, fulfilling the demand for special school placements within the county.

Pat the Cope Gallagher expressed his gratitude to the parents for their persistent advocacy, which resulted in an agreement with the HSE to utilize four modular classrooms, in addition to the new school building, ensuring accommodation for all students.

Deputy Gallagher noted that this demonstrates how collaborative efforts can lead to positive outcomes.
