The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) has announced the shortlist for its prestigious Export Industry Awards, featuring three businesses from Donegal.

Atlanfish is a finalist in the Seafood Exporter of the Year category. McNutt of Donegal is shortlisted for the Sustainable Trade Exporter award, and Source Civil is in contention for the High Potential Exporter Category.

The Export Industry Awards celebrate excellence and success within Ireland’s vibrant export sector.

This year’s competition includes 12 distinct award categories, spanning manufacturing, life sciences, and focusing on crucial areas like sustainability and innovation.

The winners in each category, and the overall 2025 Exporter of the Year, will be revealed at the 23rd Export Industry Awards and Gala Dinner, scheduled for October 3rd, 2025, at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre.

Simon McKeever, CEO of the IEA, stated, “The Export Industry Awards are a testament to the outstanding achievements of Irish exporters. I extend my congratulations to all the shortlisted companies for their remarkable accomplishment. These businesses have demonstrated exceptional innovation, resilience, and have become benchmarks for excellence in the export sector.”

Shortlisted companies are invited to participate in an IEA Masterclass, hosted by Trinity Executive Education on June 16th. The Masterclass is designed to equip exporting businesses, and those who support them, with adaptive strategies to navigate rapidly evolving international markets.

The Awards are supported by Platinum sponsors KPMG Ireland and Trinity Executive Education, Trinity College Dublin, along with Corporate sponsors and partners: Ace Express Freight, Bord Bia, Bord Iascaigh Mhara, Dixon International Logistics, Enterprise Ireland, InterTradeIreland, Descartes Thyme and Moffett Automation.

Live judging takes place in early September, with the winners being announced at the Export Industry Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner in Dublin.
