Uisce Éireann has confirmed plans for water mains replacement works in Keadue, necessitating a 50-day road closure.
The R259 will be closed from Monday, June 30th until Friday, August 8th, with diversions in operation. Local residents and emergency services will have access throughout the duration of the works.
As part of Uisce Éireann’s National Leakage Reduction Programme, over 3.6km of aging cast iron water mains will be replaced with new pipework in the area.
