Donegal jockey Oisin Orr, from Rathmullan, secured a win at Haydock Park racecourse in England on Friday evening.
This victory adds to Oisin Orr’s impressive record with renowned trainer Richard Fahey.
Orr triumphed in the 5:35pm Old Boston Fillies’ Handicap, riding Sharon Curly, who was rated at 100/30.
Oisin took the lead early and maintained it throughout the race, successfully holding off a competitive field to cross the finish line first.
This win continues a successful week for Donegal jockeys, following Letterkenny native Dylan Browne McMonagle’s double victory at Down Royal on Friday.
