The Crossroads and Killygordon Wednesday Club for Older People enjoyed a superb Lunch this week before their summer break.

The food was provided by Yes Chef, followed by music from resident musician, Joe Carlin, which kept the dance floor full.

The club is now closed for a summer break and will re-open on Wednesday, September 3rd, when new members will be most welcome.

The Wednesday Club takes place every week at the Oaktree Centre, from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm.

The organisers welcome more people to call in and use the facilities, as well as participate in various day trips throughout the year.

For information, contact the CAKE office on 07491 49557 between 9:30 am and 1 pm, Monday to Friday.

Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

    • Removed span tags with font-weight: 400: These tags were removed as they are inline styles which should be avoided if possible. The information held within them was kept and adjusted to better suit readability.

    • Revised a Sentence for Clarity: Altered “The food was provided by Yes Chef followed by music from resident musician, Joe Carlin, as a result the dance floor was always full.” to “The food was provided by Yes Chef, followed by music from resident musician, Joe Carlin, which kept the dance floor full.”

    • Minor word changes. Altered “ahead of” to “before”. Altered “avail of” to “use”

These changes make the text more readable and easier to understand.
