The Gairmscoil Chú Uladh community recently gathered to celebrate the diverse achievements of its students throughout the academic year.

Principal Ciarán Mac Ruaidhrí praised the students’ initiative and success in the school’s daily activities.

Students, parents, and staff then heard from guest speaker Charlene McGuire, a Gairmscoil Chú Uladh alumna who shared her journey from student to quantity surveyor and successful business owner. Reflecting on her school years, she admitted uncertainty about her future. She encouraged students to dedicate themselves fully to every task, regardless of its size.

“As you excel in your endeavors, your confidence will grow,” she stated, “and you will begin to realize the opportunities that lie ahead. Success will follow.”

Awards were presented for both academic and extracurricular accomplishments, culminating in the Student of the Year award, which Charlene presented to sixth-year student Síle Ní Mhairtín.

Special appreciation was extended to Múinteoir Ó Mhorda for organizing the event, and best wishes were conveyed to all students facing examinations.
