Letterkenny businesses have joined forces to relaunch the Go Visit Letterkenny campaign.

The initiative aims to position Letterkenny as “The Heart of Donegal,” emphasizing its suitability as a central hub for tourists exploring County Donegal.

Hotels, restaurants, activity providers, and retailers are collaborating to highlight Letterkenny’s unique experiences, attractions, and hospitality, reinforcing its appeal as a vibrant destination along the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Go Visit Letterkenny campaign welcomes additional business owners who wish to participate in this renewed tourism marketing effort.

Brian Gallagher, a committee member from the Station House Hotel, stated:

“As a group, we are dedicated to promoting Letterkenny as a destination in its own right, not just a stopping point. We are witnessing a renewed sense of enthusiasm and collaboration among local businesses, which is fantastic. With so much to offer, we are reminding visitors that Letterkenny is the ideal base for exploring the best of Donegal and the Wild Atlantic Way.”

Councillor Ciaran Brogan has expressed his support for the revitalized collaboration:

“It is encouraging to see the business community uniting with such energy and purpose. The group is working closely with Donegal County Council, and the engagement across the town has been remarkable. We encourage all businesses that share our vision to join us in promoting Letterkenny’s unique qualities.”
