A man seriously injured in a collision in Kerrykeel over the Bank Holiday weekend is still receiving hospital treatment.

The man, in his 40s, was driving one of the two cars involved in a collision on Main Street, Kerrykeel, on Saturday morning.

Gardaí have reiterated their appeal for information regarding the incident.

Two other people were involved in the collision: a female passenger in her late teens who did not need immediate hospital treatment, and the driver of the second vehicle, a woman in her 70s, who was taken to hospital for assessment.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or has relevant camera footage, including dashcam footage, from the area around the time (shortly after 10.45am) to contact them.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Milford Garda Station at (074) 915 3060, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
