    Man arrested after cars set on fire at Cork Airport Business Park

    A man in his early 30s has been apprehended following an incident where multiple vehicles were set ablaze at the Cork Airport Business Park. The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.

    Gardaí were alerted to the scene at approximately 1:15 AM due to reports of criminal damage. The Cork City Fire Service responded swiftly and successfully extinguished the fires.

    The suspect was arrested on-site and is currently being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

    Gardaí have stated that investigations into the incident are continuing.
