    A remarkable seven students from Loreto Letterkenny have been chosen to represent Ulster in track and field at the prestigious Tailteann Games.

    This year’s event will take place in Carlow on June 21st.

    The Tailteann Games is a highly competitive inter-provincial schools championship, showcasing the best under-17 athletes from across Ireland.

    The top two finishers in each event will earn the opportunity to represent Ireland at the schools’ international competition in July.

    Congratulations to the following talented Loreto students:

    Aoife McGeehin: Javelin and Discus

    Maeve Doherty: 80m Hurdles and 4x100m Relay

    Anya Duffy and Kathryn Davison: Pole Vault

    Leah O’Gara and Iona MacGabhann: 2000m Walk

    Clodagh Gallagher: High Jump
