It seems we’re not alone in our appreciation for Donegal!

Donegal County Council has announced that the 2024 #LoveDonegal Day was the most successful in the campaign’s history.

This social media campaign encourages people with connections to Donegal to share positive aspects of the county, showcasing its best features using the hashtags #LoveDonegal and #DúnnanGallAbú.

Figures released today by the Council during #YourCouncilDay reveal that the 2024 campaign reached a staggering 99.5 million people across various social media platforms in just one day.

This impressive reach surpasses the 85 million reached in the 2023 campaign, demonstrating the global affection for this small county.

Quite an achievement for a county with a population of 167,000.
