    Donegal Local Development CLG, established in 1995, is an integrated local development company.

    We manage and deliver numerous externally funded programs for the benefit of the Donegal community. Donegal Local Development CLG (DLDC) is currently accepting applications for three positions within our Community Development team. A summary of each opportunity is provided below:

    • Community Connector: This role involves engaging with communities throughout Donegal, providing support to those accommodating individuals seeking international protection, promoting inclusivity, and strengthening community relationships. Candidates should possess a recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and/OR equivalent training and related professional experience. A minimum of 3 years of direct experience working with marginalized individuals and/or communities impacted by poverty, exclusion, and disadvantage is required. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, subject to funding, based in Letterkenny.
    • Food Equality Coordinator: This position is responsible for the planning, delivery, and evaluation of community-focused activities and training programs focused on addressing food inequality across Donegal, in collaboration with regional and cross-border partners. A recognised and relevant Third Level qualification and/OR a minimum of three years’ experience is required. Applicants must have strong knowledge of and proven working experience in the community, with particular emphasis on health promotion. This is a two-year fixed-term, grant-funded role.
    • Social Enterprise Officer: This role will support the delivery of the Social Enterprise program of activity for DLDC. A recognised Third Level qualification in Business Management / Community Development and/OR a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience in the area of Community Development with demonstrable detailed knowledge and experience of social enterprise is essential. This is a fixed-term role funded until 31 December 2028.

Interviews are provisionally scheduled for the week of 21st July 2025. We reserve the right to enhance the shortlisting criteria. A panel may be formed to fill similar vacancies that arise.
