Donegal GAA has released crucial traffic information for fans heading to Dr Hyde Park in Roscommon this Sunday for the highly anticipated match.

The All-Ireland Round 3 clash, expected to completely sell out all 20,000 tickets, kicks off at 4pm.

Please take note of the following traffic advisory if you are planning to attend:

A section of the N61 between Boyle and Tulsk has been closed for construction since May 19th (see details below). This section is impassable.

The segment of the N61 between Boyle and Tulsk that is currently closed to traffic.

This closure affects the most direct route to Roscommon for those travelling from the Sligo direction.

A spokesperson advised, “Diversions are in place from Boyle, directing traffic via Frenchpark, and then back onto the N5 at Tulsk.”

“Those traveling from the direction of Carrick-on-Shannon can take the R368 via Elphin, Strokestown, Four Mile House, and then onto Roscommon.”

“Under normal traffic conditions, this alternative route adds approximately 5 minutes to the journey.”
