Finn Harps have announced the signing of French attacker Ibrahima Pokou Bangoura.
The 22-year-old has signed a contract with the club until the end of the 2025 season and is available for selection for tonight’s away game against Wexford FC.
Bangoura joins Finn Harps after most recently playing for Sable FC. He also has previous experience with RCS La Chappelle and SO Cholet B.
“Ibrahima has impressed myself and the coaching staff in recent weeks. He possesses a natural attacking instinct, great pace, and a strong desire to prove himself,” said Finn Harps manager Kevin McHugh.
“He is capable of playing in any of the front three positions, offering us versatility in our setup. He fits the profile of player we are looking for in the squad. While it will take time for him to adjust to his new environment, we are optimistic he can make a valuable contribution as we head into the crucial part of the season.”
