As part of their ongoing operations during the Donegal Rally weekend, Gardaí have confirmed the arrest of another drug driver and the seizure of several vehicles throughout the county.

The Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit arrested a driver earlier today on suspicion of drug driving after a roadside test proved positive.

In a separate incident, Letterkenny Gardaí seized a vehicle lacking valid tax and NCT certificates.

Yesterday in Dungloe, two more vehicles were impounded due to the absence of insurance, tax, and NCT.

Gardaí continue to emphasize the importance of road safety for all users this weekend.

“Prioritize road safety at all times and avoid unnecessary risks. Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” An Garda Síochána Donegal stated on social media, announcing the latest arrest and seizures.
