Gardaí are investigating a hit-and-run collision that occurred on the Letterkenny-Stranorlar road last night.
The incident took place on the N13 at Callan, Drumkeen, on Monday, June 30th, shortly before 10:30 PM.
The collision involved a car emerging from a junction on the Convoy road to enter the N13, and another car traveling on the N13 from Letterkenny towards Drumkeen.
No serious injuries resulted from the crash.
However, one of the drivers left the scene on foot before emergency services arrived.
A Garda spokesperson stated: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon at 071-9858530. We also request that anyone with dash-cam footage from the area between 10:20 PM and 10:45 PM provide it to us.”
