Donegal-based indie duo The Hopeful Kind is making waves with their new single, “Rollin'”, an electrifying and raw exploration of lost love.

This is the fourth release from the Donegal/Meath duo, Cara Ward (who hails from Dungloe) and Ruth Teeling.

“Rollin'” delves into the emotional aftermath of infidelity and the unraveling of relationships, featuring powerful rhythms, evocative guitar work, and sharp, insightful lyrics.

The song masterfully blends storytelling with a bold alt-rock energy, creating a haunting and compelling listening experience that is both intense and honest.

With its emotionally charged lyrics and infectious sound, “Rollin'” is a must-listen for indie rock fans seeking substance and depth.

Since forming in the summer of 2023, The Hopeful Kind has graced the stages of renowned venues like The Academy, Whelan’s, and Monroe’s Live. Their official festival debut was at Croílár Festival in April 2025.
