    Last night, the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit impounded a vehicle driven by an uninsured and disqualified individual.

    Gardaí received reports from the public regarding a vehicle approaching Letterkenny that was being driven recklessly.

    The Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit intercepted the vehicle and arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was already disqualified and lacked insurance. The vehicle was seized, and legal proceedings are pending.

    “We extend our sincere gratitude to the public for reporting this incident. Collaboration is crucial for enhancing road safety,” stated a Garda spokesperson.
