Callum Devine maintains his lead in the 2025 Donegal International Rally, but William Creighton is mounting a serious challenge.
Creighton, hailing from Down, has been setting impressive stage times today, claiming the fastest time on four of the six stages run so far, including the most recent stage at Garrygort.
Driving a Toyota Yaris R2, the former Junior WRC Champion now trails leader Devine, in his Skoda Fabia R2, by just 4.9 seconds.
Meanwhile, Meirion Evans and Haydon Padden are battling for the final podium position, with Welshman Evans currently holding third place by a slim 1.3-second margin over New Zealander Padden. Both are approximately 20 seconds behind the leader.
Josh Moffett and David Kelly are engaged in a fight for fifth place, around a minute off the lead. Ford M-Sport driver Jon Armstrong is only ten seconds behind them after encountering further technical issues with his Ford Fiesta R2 earlier today.
The second runs of Knockalla and Garrygort are scheduled for this evening, with the possibility of rain adding another layer of complexity for the drivers before they return to Parc Fermé.
The remaining stages for today are listed below, but due to delays, start times are anticipated to be approximately 30 minutes later than scheduled.
Saturday:
Knockalla 2 (SS13): 5:22pm
Garrygort 2 (SS14): 6pm
