    Donegal 0-12 v 6-11 Meath

    Donegal’s minor footballers suffered defeat in today’s Minor All-Ireland Championship B Semi-Final.

Meath secured a place in the final of the Paul McGirr Cup with a dominant display at the Athletic Ground in Armagh, scoring an impressive six goals.

Despite the final score, the first half was closely contested. A Meath penalty ultimately gave them a narrow one-point lead at halftime: 0-10 to 1-08.

Donegal began the second half strongly, scoring four points to take a one-point lead with twenty minutes remaining.

However, Meath responded with a devastating scoring surge, leaving Donegal unable to add any further points after briefly holding the lead.

Two Meath goals within five minutes created a significant challenge for Donegal with under ten minutes left. Three further goals from Meath in the closing five minutes sealed a comprehensive victory.
