The community of Carndonagh has initiated a fundraiser to support the family of Natalie McLaughlin and her daughter, Ella.

Tragically, both Natalie and Ella lost their lives in a collision on Wednesday evening in Glentogher, Carndonagh. Natalie’s partner, Tyrone, and their two-year-old daughter, Rhea Rose, also sustained serious injuries in the devastating incident.

The funeral service for Natalie and Ella will be held on Monday afternoon.

To assist Natalie and Ella’s family during this difficult time, as well as to support Tyrone and Rhea Rose in their recovery journey, an official fundraiser has been organized by the Carndonagh community.

In announcing the fundraiser, the organizers expressed their heartfelt tribute to the “beloved” mother and daughter.

“With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved Natalie McLaughlin and her darling young daughter Ella, following a road traffic collision. Natalie, a beautiful and vibrant young mother from Carndonagh, Co. Donegal, and her precious little girl touched the lives of so many with their warmth, love, and joy,” they stated.

“During this time of unimaginable grief, we, as a community – both near and far – wish to unite and offer our unwavering support to the McLaughlin family. This fundraising page has been created to express our heartfelt love, support, and solidarity with them during these incredibly difficult days.”

“While no words can alleviate the pain, we hope that through our collective kindness and generosity, we can provide some comfort and practical assistance to help the family navigate the days ahead.”

“We thank you for your support, prayers, and love.”
