Several vehicles sustained damage following a paint spill on the main Ardara to Glenties Road.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday evening, resulted in white paint splashing onto a number of cars.

Local Councillor Brian Carr acknowledged the difficulty faced by vehicle owners whose cars were damaged through no fault of their own.

“An unreported paint spill has unfortunately left vehicle owners with the expense of professional cleaning,” he stated.

Councillor Carr advises anyone whose car was affected to contact the pothole/minor claims telephone line.

The contact number for affected individuals is 01 6396645.
