The death toll has risen to four following the shooting incident in Maguiresbridge, Fermanagh.

Police have identified the fourth victim as 43-year-old Ian Rutledge.

Mr. Rutledge had been hospitalized in serious condition since Wednesday, July 23rd, and sadly passed away this evening, July 28th.

This follows the deaths of Vanessa Whyte, 45, a veterinarian originally from Barefield, Co Clare, and her two children, James, 14, and Sara, 13, (pictured above) in the same incident.

Police officers responded to the scene on the morning of Wednesday, July 23rd, following reports of a suspected triple murder and attempted suicide. Despite immediate medical attention, two individuals were pronounced dead at the location.

A third victim succumbed to their injuries in hospital that same afternoon.

All four individuals suffered gunshot wounds.

Detectives are renewing their appeal to the public for any information related to the incident, urging anyone with even seemingly insignificant details to come forward.
