A young woman’s body has been found in a Limerick city hotel.
The discovery was made near Steamboat Quay at approximately 10:20 PM on Wednesday evening.
A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place at University Hospital Limerick.
Regarding the incident, a Garda spokesperson stated: “Gardaí assisted emergency services with a medical emergency at a premises in Limerick City yesterday evening, Wednesday, July 16th, 2025.
“A woman was pronounced dead by ambulance personnel.”
“No additional details are currently available.”
