Donegal has seen a significant drop in planning permissions granted during the first quarter of this year, with a decrease of nearly 30%. The Central Statistics Office (CSO) data reveals that 119 permissions were granted for houses and 9 for apartments (a total of 125) in Donegal between January and March. This represents a 27.7% decrease compared to the 164 permissions granted in the same period in 2024.
