Firefighters are still working to extinguish the fire at the old Foyle College building in Derry, according to the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI). The fire initially broke out on Saturday evening.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) was first alerted to the fire at 7:31 PM on Saturday.
Currently, three NIFRS fire engines, including one aerial platform, are still on site battling the flames.
Residents in the vicinity are advised to keep their windows shut and keep pets inside due to the heavy smoke emanating from the building.
Due to ongoing firefighting operations, motorists are reminded that Duncreggan Road is still closed to traffic in Derry.
