    The Health Service Executive (HSE) has announced a successful recruitment of a permanent General Practitioner (GP) for Lettermacaward.

    Dr. Shahzad Ahmad is scheduled to commence his duties on Tuesday, July 15th, 2025.

    An HSE spokesperson extended their best wishes to Dr. Ahmad in his new position.

    Dr. Ahmad will be based at the newly renovated Health Center in Lettermacaward.

    The HSE reassured patients in Lettermacaward that the existing service arrangements will remain unchanged.

    The HSE also expressed gratitude to Dr. Charles McManus for his support of the patients of Lettermacaward over the past several months.
