The Mount Errigal Hotel, a Donegal landmark, is entering an exciting second phase of its major renovation project, promising a redefined guest experience.
This well-known Letterkenny property, renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and established reputation as a popular choice for weddings, conferences, and family holidays, is undergoing a significant transformation. The renovations focus on modern comfort, enhanced style, and improvements to its already impressive facilities.
The multi-million euro investment includes extensive renovations to key areas, notably a complete refurbishment of the hotel lobby to provide a contemporary and inviting arrival experience. A brand-new pre-wedding bar and gathering space is also being created, providing the perfect setting for couples and their guests to commence their celebrations.
A new, state-of-the-art restaurant is also planned, promising an elevated dining experience for both hotel residents and other visitors.
Designed by O’Donnell O’Neill, a leading Irish interior design studio celebrated for creating some of the most stylish and iconic hospitality spaces in the country, the new space will blend striking modern design with the finest local ingredients. This promises guests the best of Donegal hospitality in a fresh and vibrant atmosphere.
This second phase also encompasses the refurbishment of the hotel’s second function room, following the successful renovation of the first function room two years ago. With both spaces upgraded, the Mount Errigal reinforces its position as a premier venue in the Northwest for weddings, conferences, and special events.
