Finn Harps members will convene online this weekend for a special meeting to vote on a proposed liquor licence for Finn Park in Ballybofey.

The online meeting is scheduled for Sunday, July 6th, at 8:00 PM.

A club spokesperson stated, “During the meeting, members will vote on an amendment to the club’s rules concerning the liquor licence application. This application follows sponsorship from league sponsor Rockshore, who provided a new, fully-fitted container unit (pictured) designed for bar operations.”

The proposed rule amendments will specify the operational guidelines for the bar, including opening hours, the designated drinking area’s location and boundaries, restrictions on consuming alcohol outside the designated area, and regulations pertaining to members and their guests.

    Volunteer Positions Available

Finn Harps is also seeking applicants for the volunteer roles of Club Secretary and Treasurer.

Candidates for the Secretary position should ideally possess an administration background. While experience with governance and regulations is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Applicants for the Treasurer position must be qualified accountants. Both the Secretary and Treasurer will receive support from existing office staff.

Interested individuals should submit their CV and a covering letter or any supplementary information to secretary@finnharps.ie
