Donegal County Museum presents the WOMEN 100 photographic project, open this Saturday, June 28th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Commissioned by Donegal County Museum as part of the 2024 Commemorations Programme, this project, led by artist Marie Barrett, showcases women actively involved in community development and social justice across County Donegal.

According to a council spokesperson, “These women were selected for their significant roles in shaping contemporary discussions around women’s visibility and societal contributions.”

“The project highlights their impactful efforts in driving social change and fostering development, presenting these women within their communities and professional environments.”

Collaborating organizations include Inishowen Development Partnership, Changemakers Project, Donegal Intercultural Platform, Donegal Travellers Project, and Women’s Collective Donegal. The project received funding from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event on Saturday. The Museum is located on the High Road, Letterkenny, F92 K123.
