A young Cork man has been ordered to donate to charity after being abusive to security personnel and Gardaí outside a Letterkenny nightclub during a rally weekend event.

Christopher Cremin faced charges at Letterkenny District Court for being intoxicated and using offensive language.

The incident occurred at Pulse Nightclub in Letterkenny on Sunday, June 22nd.

Garda Sergeant Jim Collins informed the court that Cremin, 27, was intoxicated and verbally abused Gardaí and door staff who were attempting to de-escalate a situation at 1:05 AM on Sunday morning.

The court heard that Cremin, residing in Ballyhesta, Carrignavar, County Cork, had no prior relevant convictions.

His legal representative, Mr. Patsy Gallagher, stated that his client is a highly educated young man who is currently pursuing his studies.

Mr. Gallagher explained that this incident was uncharacteristic of his client, who traveled to Donegal to appear in court and address the charges.

Judge Eiteain Cunningham directed Cremin to contribute €250 to the Little Blue Heroes charity, after which the charges would be dismissed.
