Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel has “activated” local Palestinian clans in Gaza to combat Hamas.
In a video shared on his X account, Netanyahu explained that this decision was made on the advice of “security officials” to safeguard the lives of Israeli soldiers.
This announcement follows criticism from a political opponent who questioned the arming of unofficial Palestinian groups in Gaza.
