Mark your calendars! The Indian Community in Letterkenny cordially invites you to the second annual Donegal Mela on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at An Grianán Theatre Plaza, Letterkenny.

Join us for a vibrant celebration of Indian and global cultures! This exciting event features live performances, engaging workshops, fun children’s activities, and diverse stalls – ensuring an enjoyable experience for all ages.

Immerse yourself in Bollywood and Classical dance workshops, witness the splendor of traditional Indian fashion, and enjoy playful games like Giant Jenga, Skittles, and Connect 4. Children will be thrilled with face painting, creative art stations, and a memorable photo booth, while adults can adorn themselves with intricate henna designs.

Talented local and visiting artists will grace the stage with captivating live music and dance performances showcasing the rich heritage of India.

The Donegal Mela is a proud component of Donegal County Council’s Black and Minority Ethnic Inclusion Strategy, dedicated to fostering unity and celebrating diversity throughout the region.

This family-friendly afternoon of cultural immersion is organized by the Indian Community Centre Letterkenny, with the generous support of Donegal County Council and An Grianán Theatre. Come and experience the warmth of community!

Admission is free, and everyone is warmly welcome!
